Baked Ranch Tomatoes

Baked Ranch Tomatoes

Ingredients:

2       - tomatoes, cut in half
         - vegetable cooking spray
1/2    - teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 1/2 - tablespoons commercial Ranch-style dressing

Garnish: fresh flat-leaf parsley


Procedure:

Step 1
- Place tomato halves in an 8-inch square pan. Coat top of halves with cooking spray

Step 2
- Bake tomato halves at 350 degrees for 16 to 20 minutes

Step 3
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and top evenly with dressing.

Step 4
- Broil 3 inches from heat (with electric oven door partially opened) 2 to 3 minutes or until tomatoes begin to brown.

Garnish: If desired.

Yield: 4 servings
