1 - (16-ounce) package ziti
1 - pound mild Italian sausage
1/2 - pound ground beef
1/2 - cup chopped onion
3 - cups Marinara Sauce
1 - (16-ounce) package sliced mozzarella cheese
1/4 - cup grated Parmasan cheese
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- Remove sausage from casing. Cook sausage, beef, and onion in a skillet over a medium heat, stirring until meat crumbles. Drain and return to skillet.
- Stir Marinara Sauce and ziti into meat mixture. Layer half each of ziti mixture and mozzarella cheese in a lightly greased 13-x9-x2-inch baking dish. Spoon remaining ziti mixture over mozzarella cheese, cover with foil.
- Bake at 35 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove foil; add remaining mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake additional 10 minutes.
Yield: 8 to 10 servings
